Wednesday, April 25th: The road to Williamsburg.

We were up at sparrow's fart this morning to catch our 7:50 flight to New York. Smarty picked us up in her pick-up truck, which sadly is not what everyone drives around here, and by everyone, I mean the Texas Rollergirls.

Maim and I were still feeling pretty ballsy and were the sisterhood of travelling head colds. We experienced our first naked scanner machine at airport security. Neither of us braved wearing our shooting range clothing but we weren't stopped for swab testing so it didn't really matter.

The flight to Dallas was short and sweet. We were at cruising altitude for about 7 minutes before starting our descent. Then we had a short layover before catching our next flight to JFK.

Hot tip: Falling asleep while listening to 'We Bought a Zoo' makes for interesting dreams.

Apparently I slept through some pretty bad turbulence. And woke up twice to Maim's Pringles offerings. Original then Sour Cream and Chives for those playing at home. Typing Chives just made me really miss Chivas.

We finally landed and made our way to our AirBnB apartment for the next week. We passed Five Strides Skate Shop on our way through. We then settled in, ordered in and had powernaps before re-convening at the kitchen table to catch up in our online lives. Which is where I now leave you.

Oh, and we visited the local Walgreens.
